April 2014 saw the EFQM Forum held in Brussels, with the theme of ‘Driving Excellence beyond the Limits.’ The event attracted a diverse range of participants from across Europe. The keynote speakers included high-profile figures such as Professor Vlerick, who discussed the importance of leadership in driving excellence.

The EFQM Excellence Award 2014 was also launched at the forum. This prestigious award is open to all organisations, regardless of size or sector. The award recognises organisations that demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their operations and results.

In other news, EFQM launched a new training programme in April. The EFQM Assessor Training is a three-day course designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed to assess an organisation against the EFQM Excellence Model. The training is interactive and includes practical exercises to reinforce learning.

Finally, EFQM introduced a new partner in April – the European Organisation for Quality (EOQ). This partnership will enable EFQM to extend its reach and impact across Europe, promoting excellence in organisations of all sizes and sectors.
