“Foundations of Digital Transformation” highlights the importance of embracing digitalisation for industries to remain competitive. The report underscores the significance of data in driving this transformation, with 85% of respondents recognising data as a crucial asset. However, only 37% have established data governance, indicating a gap between understanding and action.
The study reveals a growing trend toward cloud-based solutions, with 54% of respondents using cloud services and 31% planning to do so. Despite this, security concerns persist, with 51% of respondents viewing cybersecurity as a significant challenge.
The report also explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), with 58% of respondents acknowledging their potential but only 29% currently utilising them. This suggests an opportunity for more industries to leverage these technologies.
The study concludes that while progress has been made, there is still much work to do in the realm of digital transformation. It emphasises the need for industries to overcome challenges and fully embrace digitalisation to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
