They have identified a lack of clarity around roles, expectations, and career progression as a key challenge.

The new AC Career Framework aims to address these issues. It provides clear and comprehensive role descriptions, outlines expectations, and offers a transparent career progression path. The framework was developed collaboratively, involving the entire AC team in its creation, ensuring it reflects their needs and experiences.

The framework is divided into four levels: Associate, Practitioner, Senior, and Principal. Each level has its own set of expectations, responsibilities, and competencies. The framework also includes a ‘Career Pathways’ tool, which helps individuals map out their career trajectory.

The AC Career Framework is not a rigid structure, but a flexible guide. It is designed to evolve with the team, the company, and the industry. It is part of Spotify’s commitment to continuous learning and development, fostering an environment where everyone can grow and thrive.
