Over 90% of Atlassian staff use Rovo on a weekly basis, and almost all use it monthly. With the use and impact of Rovo so high, Mansour thought, “Man, a lot of customers are asking for something like this too.”
Product, sales and CS teams are constantly talking to customers about AI, and have an understanding of the use cases where AI might be valuable for them. “We follow a lighthouse customer program for all our new products,” he says. “This is very high-touch, for about 30 customers, where we build the early version of the product with customers who get exclusive access and we tweak the product directly for them.”
